Dara Davey – ‘Edenfall_318’
Q1: What drew you to do “Finding Oblivion”?
I was very interested in the story line. This story hits on a lot of subjects that impact me and my belief is that Finding Oblivion reflects much of reality even though it is science fiction.
Q2: Tell us a little about your character.
Edenfall_318 is a woman who has lost the love of her life to a horrific disease and has lost her job for following her heart to expose the truth. She has reached a point where she has nothing left to lose and wants to make a change for herself and humanity.
Q3: What can we expect to see from your role in the show?
We get to see her go through a transformation of being a normal every day average citizen to a woman leading a revolt against her government.
Q4: Web-series seem to be coming quite popular, what’s your thoughts on them?
Well I think being in the field you have to adapt to the new changes as new media platforms evolve. We can’t get away from the fact the movies and shows are headed to the internet so web-series are a great way to hit a wide range of audiences. They cater to the short attention span mentality that is happening and allows people to engage in a show for a short time and then continue on with their busy life.
Q5: Are you looking forward to the feature film that will follow the series?
Yes, it will be great to be able to watch everything unfold uninterrupted and see scenes that other wise may not be available.
Q6: And lastly and most important, tell us why people should watch the show.
I think this show spreads awareness about the state of our country. It makes people experience a reality in which all rights have been taken away from the people and what it is like to exist in a fascist state. It makes you question; “what would the Unites States be like to live in if the Constitution no long existed?”

Sam Brittan – ‘Jack’
Q1: What drew you to do “Finding Oblivion”?
I instantly loved the story and the characters, but HOW we experience the story and see the characters interact with the world they live in was also completely intriguing to me. Watching Finding Oblivion unfold from the true point of view of someone in the middle of everything instantly makes it more engrossing and believable, which is the really scary thing because in this version of America all the conspiracies from the darkest corners of the internet have basically come true. It feels real, and plausible, and that is frightening shit I wanted to be a part of.
Q2: Tell us a little about your character.
Jack is a small town Sheriff who’s job puts him in an extremely difficult and complicated position. He is supposed to serve and protect the people, but often it’s impossible to figure out who to protect them from, if they are even the ones who need protecting, or if in fact he should be protecting someone from THEM. He is supposed to enforce the laws, but many of the laws are excessive and end up hurting people. So, it comes down to his having to choose which ones to enforce and which to ignore. He has the CDF literally looking over his shoulder at all times to try and make sure he follows and enforces all the laws, which Jack hates, but he is also dating a woman who works for the CDF and has the job of looking over his shoulder. Obviously, he has great eternal struggle about where his loyalties and allegiances lie, as well as who he can really trust, and spends a lot of time trying to figure out who the real good and bad guys are.
Q3: What can we expect to see from your role in the show?
You never know what to expect from any of the characters on Finding Oblivion, which is part of the fun. All I can say is that Jack will do his best to navigate the twisted world in which he lives in, and that he is equal parts lover and fighter…
Q4: Web-series seem to be coming quite popular, what’s your thoughts on them?
I am a big fan of the emergence of web-series, because it opens up the door to a lot of new and different kinds of storytelling, as well as new and unique stories, and voices that otherwise wouldn’t be heard. Where traditional TV has a lot of stringent rules about how something should look, how the story needs to be told, how the character arcs should unfold, etc, with a web-series you can do whatever the hell you want. That kind of freedom is the breeding ground for innovation and creativity. As the computer screen and tablet and your TV and the internet all merge more and more and more, web-series are only going to become more prominent until the line between them and traditional TV is non-existent, and I think that is a great thing.
Q5: Are you looking forward to the feature film that will follow the series?
Yes, I am really excited for the film because it will feel like a companion but also at the same time completely different from the series. It’s one of the really cool things we are doing with Finding Oblivion that a lot of people haven’t seen or experienced before, and I think it will give the audience and our fans yet another way to enjoy the story and the characters.
Q6: And lastly and most important, tell us why people should watch the show.
One word: Jack

Natasha Timpoani – ‘Dawn_8819’
Q1: What drew you to do “Finding Oblivion”?
I was drawn to the project because it addressed such controversial topics and laid out a scenario that to me could very possibly occur if we aren’t careful and mindful of what’s taking place with our government. I liked how strong my character and how multi-faceted she is.
Q2: Tell us a little about your character.
Dawn_8819 is a former cop who helps aid her best friend in discovering the truth and preventing more attacks on the american people. She is strong minded, loyal, determined, and a bit guarded.
Q3: What can we expect to see from your role in the show?
Dawn will give you a few surprises and I don’t want to give anything away. Just expect some really good twists and some fun banter between her and Cam.
Q4: Web-series seem to be coming quite popular, what’s your thoughts on them?
I think web-series are a great forum for entertainment and am pleased to see the rise in popularity. Its nice to have short segments you can regularly catch in our busy day to day schedules.
Q5: Are you looking forward to the feature film that will follow the series?
The feature I am thrilled about because it will fill in the rest of the story that can’t be seen in the short segments in the web-series. Almost like a behind the scenes look. Web-series are great but its nice to have the feature to share a bit more.
Q6: And lastly and most important, tell us why people should watch the show.
You should watch Finding Oblivion because it will be an entertaining look at controversial topics played by characters you will love. They will make you laugh and cry and want to cheer them on and also make you think. I’m excited for everyone to get wrapped in and anticipate what is coming next.

Simon Scott – ‘Cameradog’
Definitely the story and the way the characters fit within the world that Finding Oblivion created. It was so tangible to me, as if a few bad decisions in our recent past or even our recent future could have generated such a world. So much of the story draws from contemporary actions of corporations and governments that it feels like a very real possibility. And lastly, I was told the entire world would be from my character’s perspective, that while I would be acting in Finding Oblivion, my main action would take place behind the camera as DP. It’s not often that a director comes to you and says, “Hey, you wanna film this whole thing?” These challenges drew me instantly to such a unique project.
