For this ‘Ten Years On’ post we take a look back at “WolfCop”.
I absolutely LOVE this film.

I can still remember seeing the trailer for the first time and having a huge frin on my face, this was a film I just had to see. It looked like it was gonna be so much fun and I was here for it, I was so excited for it’s release and hoped I wouldn’t be let down.
Fortunately for us viewers, it wasn’t a disappointment. What we got was 80 minutes of pure, unadulterated B-movie entertainment. This film knew exactly what it was and it did it to perfection, making it such an entertaing watch.

This feature was a big reminder to me that not all films have to be a serious story, both viewers and film makers can have fun too. But it’s not all comedy, there’s also a ton of fun gore scenes, action and puns to satisfy any Horror fan looking for a fun time.
The film became a cult hit and even spawned a sequel that was just as fun at this was (a film I’m still waiting to be released on DVD in the UK) and even a mini comic series published by Dynanmite. I hope we see more of WolfCop in the future.

Ten years on and “WolfCop” is still such a fun watch. Get your friends round, have a few beers and throw this on, it’s a guaranteed fun night.
