With this list I’m going to give you a run-down of my best & worst Horror films of 2024.

If you want to see the trailers for these films just click on the film name, I’d also like to point out they are in no particular favourite order, So here we go:

Late Night With The Devil – In 1977 a live television broadcast goes horribly wrong, unleashing evil into the nation’s living rooms.

Oddity – After the brutal murder of her twin sister, Darcy goes after those responsible by using haunted items as her tools for revenge.

The Substance – A fading celebrity takes a black-market drug: a cell-replicating substance that temporarily creates a younger, better version of herself.

Immaculate – A woman of devout faith is warm welcomed to the picture-perfect Italian countryside where she is offered a new role at an illustrious convent.

A Quiet Place: Day One – When New York City comes under attack from an alien invasion, a woman and other survivors try to find a way to safety. They soon learn that they must remain absolutely silent as the mysterious creatures are drawn to the slightest sound.

Bloodline Killer – Moira Cole tries to rebuild her shattered life after the murder of her family at the hands of her deranged and obsessed cousin.

Hold Your Breath – In 1930s Oklahoma amid the region’s horrific dust storms, a woman is convinced that a sinister presence is threatening her family.

Alien: Romulus – Space colonizers come face to face with the most terrifying life-form in the universe while scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station.

Mind Body Spirit – An aspiring yoga influencer embarks on a ritual practice left behind by her estranged grandmother.

Longlegs – an FBI agent in the 1990s is tasked with tracking down an occultist serial killer responsible for murdering multiple families throughout Oregon.

Festival Of The Living Dead – While attending a festival to commemorate the original zombie attack, Ash and her friends encounter the living dead and must fight back or be devoured.

In A Violent Nature – When a locket is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that entombs the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 70-year old crime, his body is resurrected and becomes hellbent on retrieving it.

The Watched – A young artist gets stranded in an extensive, immaculate forest in western Ireland, where, after finding shelter, she becomes trapped alongside three strangers, stalked by mysterious creatures each night.

Apartment 7A – A struggling young dancer finds herself drawn in by dark forces when a peculiar, well-connected older couple promise her a shot at fame.

The First Omen – A woman starts to question her own faith when she uncovers a terrifying conspiracy to bring about the birth of evil incarnate in Rome.

Cuckoo – A 17-year old girl is forced to move with her family to a resort where things are not what they seem.

Speak No Evil – A family is invited to spend a whole weekend in a lonely home in the countryside, but as the weekend progresses, they realize that a dark side lies within the family who invited them.

Baghead – A young woman inherits a run-down pub and discovers a dark secret within its basement – Baghead – a shape-shifting creature that will let you speak to lost loved ones, but not without consequence.

Lisa Frankenstein – A misunderstood teenager and a reanimated Victorian corpse embark on a murderous journey together to find love, happiness, and a few missing body parts.

Arcadian – In the near future on a decimated Earth, Paul and his twin sons face terror at night when ferocious creatures awaken. When Paul is nearly killed, the boys come up with a plan for survival, using everything their father taught them to keep him alive.

Trap – A father and his teen daughter attend a pop concert only to realize they’ve entered the center of a dark and sinister event.

The Devil’s Bath – Austria in the 18th century. Forests surround villages. Killing a baby gets a woman sentenced to death. Agnes readies for married life with her beloved. But her mind and heart grow heavy. A gloomy path alone, evil thoughts arising.

Blink Twice – When tech billionaire Slater King meets cocktail waitress Frida at his fundraising gala, he invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. As strange things start to happen, Frida questions her reality.

Nightbitch – A woman pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mom, but soon her domesticity takes a surreal turn.

All You Need Is Death – A young couple who collect rare folk ballads discover the dark side of love when they surreptitiously record and translate an ancient, taboo folk song from the deep, forgotten past.

Double Blind – After an experimental drug trial goes awry, the test subjects face a terrifying side effect: if you fall asleep you die. Trapped in an isolated facility, panic ensues as they try to escape and somehow stay awake.

Sting – After raising an unnervingly talented spider in secret, 12-year-old Charlotte must face the facts about her pet-and fight for her family’s survival-when the once-charming creature rapidly transforms into a giant, flesh-eating monster.

Lowlifes – The survival instincts of a road-tripping family are put to the test when they have no other choice but to stay the night at a remote homestead.

Humane – In the wake of an environmental collapse that is forcing humanity to shed 20% of its population, a family dinner erupts into chaos when a father’s plan to enlist in the government’s new euthanasia program goes horribly awry.

Doc Of Chucky – The ultimate account of the Child’s Play film franchise. With contributions from cast, crew, and more, experience the story that proves you can’t keep a good guy down in a series of films that have created an icon.

Faceless After Dark – Following her breakout success in a killer clown horror flick, Bowie finds herself held hostage by an unhinged fan determined to recreate the film’s fatal plot.

Bury The Bride – Bride-to-be June’s bachelorette getaway turns deadly when her bloodthirsty fiance and his friends show up to crash the party.

MadS – A teenager who stops off to see his dealer to test a new drug before heading off for a night of partying. On the way home, he picks up an injured woman and the night takes a surreal turn.

Daddy’s Head – A boy and his stepmother fear for their safety after an eerie creature resembling the boy’s recently deceased father visits them.

This Never Happened – While staying at her boyfriend’s childhood home with him and his friends, a young woman experiences terrifying visions of a violent spirit.

Red Rooms – A model becomes obsessed with a high-profile murder trial.

Heretic – Two young religious women are drawn into a game of cat-and-mouse in the house of a strange man.

Slay – After a booking mistake, four drag queens find themselves performing for a mostly unwelcoming crowd, but when vampires attack, the crowd looks to the queens to save the day.

Milk & Serial – A surprise birthday prank takes a turn for the worse when a popular social media duo must face the reality of the terrifying aftermath.

Exhuma – The process of excavating an ominous grave unleashes dreadful consequences buried underneath.

Sleep – A young, expectant wife must figure out how to stop her husband’s nightmarish sleepwalking habits before he harms himself or his family.

The Demon Disorder – The pasts of three brothers and their deceased father collide when a deep, dark family secret is unearthed, leading to a case of revenge from beyond the grave.

Night Shift – While working her first night shift at a remote motel, a woman begins to suspect that the property is haunted.

The Moor – Claire is approached by the father of her murdered childhood friend to help investigate the haunted moor he believes is his son’s final resting place.

Disappear Completely – After visiting a crime scene, an ambitious and insensitive tabloid crime photographer, falls victim to a mysterious illness that makes him lose, one by one, his five senses.

The Deliverance – A family living in a home in Indiana discovers strange, demonic occurrences that convince them and the community that the house is a portal to hell.

Salem’s Lot – An author returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book, only to discover that the townspeople are being attacked by a bloodthirsty vampire.

MaXXXine – In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. However, as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Los Angeles, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.

The Front Room – Everything goes to hell for newly pregnant Belinda after her mother-in-law moves in. As the diabolical guest tries to get her claws on the child, Belinda must draw the line somewhere.

Imaginary – A woman returns to her childhood home to discover that the imaginary friend she left behind is very real and unhappy that she abandoned him.

Tarot – Friends unwittingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within a cursed deck of tarot cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate, racing against death to escape the future foretold in their readings.

Horror In The High Desert 3: Firewatch – As a wildfire bears down on the opposite side of the state, Oscar Mendoza, armed with a secret, takes advantage of the distraction and journeys to Northeastern Nevada in search of missing outdoorsman Gary Hinge’s last known whereabouts.

Blackout – A Fine Arts painter is convinced that he is a werewolf wreaking havoc on a small American town under the full moon.

Never Let Go – A family that has been haunted by an evil spirit for years. Their safety and their surroundings come into question when one of the children questions if the evil is real.

Lovely, Dark, And Deep – Lennon, a new back-country ranger, travels alone through the dangerous wilderness, hoping to uncover the origins of a tragedy that has haunted her since she was a child.

Stopmotion – A stop-motion animator struggles to control her demons after the loss of her overbearing mother.

The Platform 2 – After a mysterious leader imposes his law in a brutal system of vertical cells, a new arrival battles against a dubious food distribution method.

Night Swim – A family moves into a new home, unaware that a dark secret from the house’s past will unleash a malevolent force in the backyard pool.

The Strangers: Chapter One – After their car breaks down in an eerie small town, a young couple are forced to spend the night in a remote cabin. Panic ensues as they are terrorised by three masked strangers who strike with no mercy and seemingly no motive.

#AMFAD: All My Friends Are Dead – A group of college friends rents an airbnb for the biggest music festival of the year. However, their weekend of partying soon takes a deadly turn as a masked killer murders them one by one according to their sins.

Under Paris – To save Paris from a bloodbath, a grieving scientist is forced to face her tragic past when a giant shark appears in the Seine.

The Inheritance – A billionaire on the eve of his 75th birthday, invites his estranged children back home out of fear that tonight someone or something is going to kill him. He puts each of their inheritances on the line, to make sure they’ll help.

Smile 2 – About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins to experience increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events.

Bagman – When a sinister threat from his childhood returns to haunt him, a father desperately struggles against his deepest inner fear. Only this time, the fight isn’t for himself; it’s for his family.

Frogman – Three friends in search of the Loveland Frogman finds out that he is more than just a local legend.

9 Windows – After a tragic accident that killed her parents, Liza is unable to walk and spends her days trolling vloggers. When she witnesses a murder online, the police dismisses it as a hoax, and it’s up to Liza to find the killer.

Blackwater Lane – Late one night a woman drives by a stranded motorist who is later revealed to have been murdered. After a series of terrifying events the woman believes she is the killer’s next victim.

Wild Eyed And Wicked – Lily Pierce, haunted, seeks her estranged father, a disgraced history professor, to learn how to battle supernatural threats like knights fighting monsters, drawing from a bygone era of swords and armor.

Don’t Turn Out The Lights – A group of friends embark on a road trip to a music festival, oblivious to the supernatural horrors that await them along the way.

Somewhere Quiet – Follows a woman as she readjusts to normalcy after a kidnapping. Her sense of reality begins to deteriorate when she travels to her husband’s family compound.

Camp Pleasant Lake – A couple breathes life into a new camp on an old campsite, connecting them to a chilling past that unravels a 20-year-old mystery involving a missing young girl. As eerie events unfold, they must confront forces tied to a brutal crime.

The Hangman – Troubled father Leon takes son camping in Appalachia. Local cult summons evil Hangman demon. Son goes missing. Leon must confront cult, monster to find him amid rising body count.

Kill Your Lover – Dakota and Axel’s once passionate relationship has become poisoned by resentment. As emotions boil over, Axel starts sprouting black veins and excreting an acidic liquid. His touch burns flesh, and a life-and-death battle ensues.

Model House – Models staying in a secluded house for the night are terrorized by intruders.

Clickbait: Unfollowed – A group of influencers are invited to a house for a competition with deadly consequences.

Snow Valley – A newly engaged couple’s ski weekend goes horribly awry, when an unexpected guest arrives and the house’s dark supernatural forces begin to rise.

History Of Evil – A family on the run from a corrupt state takes refuge in a safe house with an evil past.

The Girl In The Pool – A well-to-do family man is forced to struggle through a surprise birthday party moments after hiding the murdered corpse of his mistress.

Spin The Bottle – When a group of friends plays spin the bottle in a house marked by a brutal massacre, they unknowingly unleash an evil spirit and start dying in terrifying ways.

No Way Up – Characters from different backgrounds are thrown together when the plane they’re travelling on crashes into the Pacific Ocean. A nightmare fight for survival ensues with the air supply running out and dangers creeping in from all sides.

They Turned Us Into Killers – Karma is assaulted by her boyfriend, BJ, which leads to her committing suicide. Star hunts down BJ and his brothers, and begins to torture them, while reading to them Karma’s suicide letter, before taking each of their lives.

Black Cab – A couple who find their jovial cab driver diverts them to a remote, haunted road, revealing disturbing motives and his true intentions.

Oracle – Follows a young woman who accepts a job on a property with a traumatic past. Upon her arrival, she soon realizes that the nightmares of her childhood are connected to the evil in the house.

The Exorcism – A troubled actor begins to unravel while shooting a horror film. His estranged daughter wonders if he’s slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play.

Carved – A group of survivors finds themselves trapped in a historical reenactment village on Halloween, where they must unite to battle a sentient, vengeful pumpkin.

Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood And Honey 2 – Not wanting to live in the shadows any longer, Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger take their fight to the town of Ashdown, leaving a bloody trail of death and mayhem in their wake.

Well there you have it, my best & worst films of 2024! You may disagree with some or even most of my choices (this is MY opinion) and I know for a fact that I have missed some (I can’t watch ALL the films).
