Horror Review: Kurt Dirt – "Rat Burger" (2013)

Here’s a treat, Kurt Dirts debut 5 song e.p “Rat Burger” has finally been released!

Not only was the 80’s a fantastic time for Horror films, it also brought us some classic composing within the films as-well. Who didn’t love the sound of a casio keyboard as helpless victims ran around like rats in a maze.

Kurt Dirt’s “Rat Burger” captures the essence of this time and brings it back with a vengeance for us all to enjoy once again. With songs such as “I’m Filth” and “Beat Me Up Buttercup” you can feel yourself being transported back to a sleazier, dirtier time.

After listening to the e.p. it’s no surprise to hear that Kurt Dirt was picked to compose the upcoming Troma flick “Return To Nuke ‘Em High” and is also about to start work on it’s sequel as-well.

I see big success in Kurt’s future, he’s a very talented person who wears his influences on his sleeve. Hopefully his composing work for “Return To Nuke ‘Em High” is just the beginning.

Make sure you go visit his website kurtdirt.net where you can also purchase the e.p.
