31 Days Of Horror: Day 27 – Housebound (2014)

Kylie Bucknell is forced to return to the house she grew up in when the court places her on home detention.

Just when I thought 2014 didn’t have much more to offer.

We’re introduced to Kylie, a wild child with a drug and alcohol problem who’s forced to go back to the one place she can’t stand to be, her parents house.
This is where the madness ensues and some madness it is, for over the next hour and 40 minutes we’re treated to some great storytelling.
One thing I didn’t expect with this film is how much humour is involved in it, I laughed throughout the entire movie and let me tell you that’s something of a rarity.
The acting is superb, Morgana O’Reilly seems to be having a blast in her role and so does everyone else in-fact and it truly shows on screen.
“Housebound” is for fans of Horror comedies, don’t let this pass you by.
