Yes, I fell for the oldest trick in the book. Unfortunately it happens from time to time, it won’t be the last time I know that for sure.
I get really frustrated when I watch a film that has great potential and it just seems like they take the lazy route, if they can’t be bothered why should we be?
For the first hour of this film nothing really happens, I understand setting up a story but this took so long to get there that by the time things got going it was more of a relief than shock value.
The acting was decent enough but the film itself was just such a waste of so much potential that it just more frustration than entertainment.
“Lucky Bastard” could’ve been so much more, yet just fell flat. This isn’t a film I’d recommend.
