In this list I’m going to give you a run-down of my best & worst of 2015.

Unfriended – A group of online chat room friends find themselves haunted by a mysterious, supernatural force using the account of their dead friend.
Hidden – A family takes refuge in a fallout shelter to avoid a dangerous outbreak.
Kill, Granny, Kill! – Answering an in-home help ad for an elderly woman, Abby Daniels leaves family and friends for a remote farmhouse in the country. But all is not as it seems with her fluffy employer, whose locked doors and cellar seem to be hiding some unusual hobbies.
The Woman In Black: Angel Of Death – 40 years after the first haunting at Eel Marsh House, a group of children evacuated from WWII London arrive, awakening the house’s darkest inhabitant.
Creep – When a videographer answers a Craigslist ad for a one-day job in a remote mountain town, he finds his client is not at all what he initially seems.
Sweet Home – A young real estate broker is planning a romantic meeting with her boyfriend in an old apartment building. But the couple is forced to fight for their lives, when a group of murderers is trying to kill them.
Goodnight Mommy – Twin boys move to a new home with their mother after she has face changing cosmetic surgery, but under her bandages is someone the children don’t recognize.
Love In The Time Of Monsters – Two sisters travel to a cheesy tourist trap where they battle toxic monsters dressed in bigfoot costumes in order to save the ones they love.
The Vatican Tapes – A priest and two Vatican exorcists must do battle with an ancient satanic force to save the soul of a young woman.
Clown – A loving father finds a clown suit for his son’s birthday party, only to realize that it is not a suit at all.
Fear Clinic – A doctor works to cure patients suffering from crippling phobias by placing them inside his invention which induces and controls hallucinations.
Spring – A young man in a personal tailspin flees the US to Italy, where he sparks up a romance with a woman harboring a dark, primordial secret.
The Exorcism Of Molly Hartley – Taking place years after The Haunting of Molly Hartley, who now, as an adult, has fallen under the possession of an evil spirit and must be exorcised by a fallen priest before the devil completely takes her.
Curve – A young woman becomes trapped in her car after a hitchhiker causes her to have an automobile accident.
Annabelle – A couple begins to experience terrifying supernatural occurrences involving a vintage doll shortly after their home is invaded by satanic cultists.
Headless – A masked killer wages an unrelenting spree of murder, cannibalism, and necrophilia.
Bone Tomahawk – Four men set out in the Wild West to rescue a group of captives from cannibalistic cave dwellers.
The Hallow – A family who moved into a remote mill house in Ireland finds themselves in a fight for survival with demonic creatures living in the woods.
Re-Kill – It’s been 5 years since the outbreak that wiped out 85% of the world’s population, but the war between Re-Animates (Re-Ans) and Humans wages on.
Crimson Peak – In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider.
Insidious: Chapter 3 – Psychic Elise Rainier reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.
The Atticus Institute – In the fall of 1976, a small psychology lab in Pennsylvania became the unwitting home to the only government-confirmed case of possession.
Loon – Follows a brother and sister on their journey to uncover the mystery of an old abandoned carnival attraction and the maniac that supposedly thrives within.
Bastard – Five strangers – newlywed serial killers, a suicidal cop, and two runaways – become suspect and victim when a masked murderer makes its presence known in an isolated mountain town.
The Final Girls – A young woman grieving the loss of her mother, a famous scream queen from the 1980s, finds herself pulled into the world of her mom’s most famous movie.
Exists – A group of friends who venture into the remote Texas woods for a party weekend find themselves stalked by Bigfoot.
Last Shift – A rookie cop’s 1st shift in the last night of a closing police station alone turns into a living nightmare.
Turbo Kid – In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a comic book fan dons the persona of his favourite hero to save his enthusiastic friend and fight a tyrannical overlord.
Cub – Over-imaginative 12 year-old Sam heads off to the woods to summer scout camp with his pack convinced he will encounter a monster…and he does.
Girl House – A beautiful young college student who, needing money for tuition, moves into a house that streams content to an X-rated website. After a deranged fan hacks in to determine the house’s location, she finds herself in a terrifying fight for her life.
The Editor – A film editor gets embroiled in a string of murders.
Housebound – Kylie Bucknell is forced to return to the house she grew up in when the court places her on home detention.
A Christmas Horror Story – Interwoven stories that take place on Christmas Eve, as told by one festive radio host: A family brings home more than a Christmas tree, a student documentary becomes a living nightmare, a Christmas spirit terrorizes, Santa slays evil.
It Follows – A young woman is followed by an unknown supernatural force after getting involved in a sexual encounter.
Axe To Grind – B-movie legend, actress Debbie Wilkins, has just been replaced by a 23 yr old scream queen in her lovers bed. More importantly she’s been left out of her lovers new film. Debbie doesn’t take rejection well.
Demonic – A police officer and a psychologist investigate the deaths of five people who were killed while trying to summon ghosts.
[REC] 4: Apocalypse – Television reporter Ángela is rescued from the building and taken to an oil tanker to be examined. However, it is unknown whether it is her who is carrying the seed of the mysterious demonic virus.
The Boy – An intimate portrait of a 9-year-old sociopath’s growing fascination with death.
Pieces Of Talent – Charlotte is a struggling young actress who can’t catch a break. In an effort to support herself and her hopeless mother, Charlotte holds a job as a cocktail waitress at a seedy, local strip club and hates every minute of it.
Cooties – A mysterious virus hits an isolated elementary school, transforming the kids into a feral swarm of mass savages. An unlikely hero must lead a motley band of teachers in the fight of their lives.
Tales Of Halloween – Ten stories are woven together by their shared theme of Halloween night in an American suburb, where ghouls, imps, aliens and axe murderers appear for one night only to terrorize unsuspecting residents.
Howl – When passengers on a train are attacked by a creature, they must band together in order to survive until morning.
From The Dark – A couple on a trip through the Irish countryside find themselves hunted by a creature who only attacks at night.
Charlie’s Farm – In an effort to do something different, four friends head into Australia’s outback to explore Charlie’s Farm, the site where a violent family met their end at the hands of an angry mob.
Why Horror? – Horror fan Tal Zimerma looks at the psychology of horror around the world in order to understand why we love to be scared.
Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse – Three scouts, on the eve of their last camp-out, discover the true meaning of friendship when they attempt to save their town from a zombie outbreak.
Beneath – A crew of coal miners becomes trapped 600 feet below ground after a disastrous collapse. As the air grows more toxic and time runs out, they slowly descend into madness and begin to turn on one another.
Digging Up the Marrow – A documentary exploring genre based monster art takes an odd turn when the filmmakers are contacted by a man who claims he can prove that monsters are indeed real.
Preternatural – Two amateur film-makers find the movie they thought they were making, is actually making them.
We Are Still Here – In the cold, wintery fields of New England, a lonely old house wakes up every thirty years – and demands a sacrifice.
Backcountry – An urban couple go camping in the woods and find themselves lost in the territory of a predatory black bear.
Insectula! – A giant alien mosquito-type insect is drawn to earth from the CO2 pollution in search of blood.
Archivo 253 – A group of amateur paranormal investigators enter an abandoned insane asylum to discover if the stories they have heard are actually true.
Contracted: Phase II – Riley searches for a cure to the virus that took over Samantha before it consumes him and the entire world.
Deep Dark – A failed sculptor discovers a strange, talking hole in the wall. It has the power to fulfill his wildest dreams…and become his worst nightmare.
Sinister 2 – A young mother and her twin sons move into a rural house that’s marked for death.
Knock Knock – When a devoted husband and father is left home alone for the weekend, two stranded young women unexpectedly knock on his door for help. What starts out as a kind gesture results in a dangerous seduction and a deadly game of cat and mouse
The Jokesters – Four friends prank a Cabin in the Woods nightmare on their friend’s honeymoon so well that it actually becomes The Cabin in the Woods horror in real life.
Gnome Alone – When Zoe inherits the magical protection of a bewitched Gnome, she quickly realizes that he isn’t your garden variety gnome, when he begins eliminating her enemies in extravagant displays of revenge.
Indigenous – American Tourists travel to Panama and have a very terrifying experience.
The Pyramid – An archaeological team attempts to unlock the secrets of a lost pyramid only to find themselves hunted by an insidious creature.
Nightlight – Five friends play a game in a ”mysterious” forest with a long history as a beacon for troubled young people contemplating suicide.
Robert The Doll – A family experience terrifying supernatural occurrences when their son acquires a vintage doll called Robert
The Intruders – After the traumatic loss of her mother, a teenaged girl tries to uncover the dark secrets behind her new home, in spite of her father’s disbelief.
Amityville Death House – A young woman and her friends are threatened by an ancient witch’s curse when they stop in the town of Amityville to check in on her sickly grandmother.
Prom Ride – It’s the end of the school year for a group of high school friends. Their senior prom was to be a night of elegance, rejoicing and celebrating, but when a psychotic killer hijacks their stretch limo, he is determined to have them Dead On Arrival.
The Nightmare – A look at a frightening condition that plagues thousands; sleep paralysis.
Poltergeist – A family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces must come together to rescue their youngest daughter after the apparitions take her captive.
Zombieworld – There is nowhere to hide…nowhere to run…the Zombie Apocalypse has come, and our world now belongs to the dead!
Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! – A monstrous tornado unleashes ravenous sharks from Washington, D.C., all the way down to Orlando, Florida.
Hayride 2 – The end of one journey only marks the beginning of another as Detective Loomis returns to uncover the truth behind the Legend of Pitchfork.
The Amityville Playhouse – Following the tragic death of her parents Fawn Harriman discovers she has inherited a theatre in the town of Amityville.
All Hallows Eve 2 – A woman finds a VHS tape on her doorstep that shows a series of gruesome tales that could be real. But the true danger is the pumpkin-faced killer that’s using the tape to find his next victim.
Maggie – A teenage girl in the Midwest becomes infected by an outbreak of a disease that slowly turns the infected into cannibalistic zombies. During her transformation, her loving father stays by her side.
The Scarehouse – Two years after a tragic accident, six college girls are invited to a party inside an elaborate Halloween funhouse. Once inside, the girls realize their hosts’ intentions are not all fun and games.
The Gallows – 20 years after a horrific accident during a small town school play, students at the school resurrect the failed show in a misguided attempt to honor the anniversary of the tragedy – but soon discover that some things are better left alone.
Dead Rising: Watchtower – A group of people fight to survive in a zombie infested town.
Star Leaf – Hikers find a secret grove of extra-terrestrial marijuana and must fight for their lives when they anger the other-worldly forces protecting the plants.
The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence) – Taking inspiration from The Human Centipede films, the warden of a notorious and troubled prison looks to create a 500-person human centipede as a solution to his problems.
Bloom – Lily wakes up in a bloody motel bathroom with fuzzy memories of the previous night.
Eaters – After their friend goes missing, five road-tripping friends must confront a violent biker gang, but after they narrowly escape, their nightmare goes from bad to spine-chilling.
The Lazarus Effect – A group of medical students discover a way to bring dead patients back to life.
Rage: Midsummer’s Eve – American and British friends studying in Finland decide to take up an offer to travel to the Arctic Circle and experience the mysterious, pagan celebration of Midsummer’s Eve.
From The Dark – A couple on a trip through the Irish countryside find themselves hunted by a creature who only attacks at night.
Always Watching: A Marble Hornets Story – A small town news team discovers a box of video tapes where a faceless figure dressed in a dark suit, haunts and torments a family… slowly driving them insane. Soon after, they realize that the “Operator” has begun to stalk them as well.
The Culling – A group of college friends on a road trip find themselves fighting off dark forces at a remote farmhouse after a chance encounter with a strange little girl.
Exeter – A group of teenagers accidentally release an evil spirit that starts to possess them one by one.
Submerged – A young woman and her friends, who’ve been targeted by kidnappers, must do everything they can to survive after their limo is forced off the road and plunged into a canal.
All Saint’s Eve – A sinister preacher in the 1800’s leads an angry church mob to murder a farmer and his family, all to gain the coveted McKale farmland.
Classroom 6 – A local reporter and her assembled TV crew go into a school haunted by a horrific past. The team spends the night locked inside the building, capturing any and everything they find.
The Last House on Cemetery Lane – A screenwriter staying in an old manor house in West Wales discovers that it’s haunted by malevolent spirits.
Private Number – A series of cryptic phone messages and visions haunt a writer while he struggles to finish a novel.
Cut! – Nothing is as it seems as an ex-con and aspirant filmmaker set out to manufacture a horror film by scaring real people; however, when it goes too far and someone actually dies, the pair decide that killing for real on film is the way to make a truly terrifying movie.
The Invoking 2 – Bear witness as hapless victims experience the unspeakable terror of confronting demonic forces, murderous poltergeists and other evil entities that are dead set on claiming their souls.
Playing With Dolls – A serial killer is purposely released from an asylum for the criminally insane so that he can continue his rampage.
Devil’s Backbone, Texas – In January, 1996 Unsolved Mysteries featured a story on landowner Bert Wall’s ‘real-life’ interactions with the spirits that roamed the Devil’s Backbone. Nearly twenty years later, Wall passed away…leaving behind only fragmented tales of an inexplicable terror to those that knew him best.
The Slashening – Best friends Lucy, Eva, Ashley, Beth and Margot have a sleepover like any other – until murder joins the party.
Condemned – Fed up with her parents’ bickering, poor-little-rich-girl Maya moves in with her boyfriend who is squatting in an old, condemned building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
Fractured – A beautiful woman discovers her boyfriend’s bloody scarf in her apartment following a black-out episode. This unearthed white scarf covered in crimson drives May to attempt suicide.
Let Me Out – Mark, his wife Maria and their two daughters were murdered one night at their home in a tragic and bizarre way. Two years later a newlywed couple moves into this house and they start to experience some supernatural occurrences from the very first day, but the couple also believes there are not alone in this house.
The Warning – Determined to get ahead in the competitive world of TV journalism, a woman investigates a local legend of people vanishing at the hands of a satanic cult but finds that she herself becomes the hunted.
Frankenstein VS The Mummy – The mummy of a cursed pharaoh and a reanimated corpse terrorize a medical university. Only an Egyptologist and a college professor, the deranged Dr. Frankenstein, may be able to stop the creatures before it’s too late.
Dark Summer – A 17-year-old is on house arrest for the summer while his mother is away on business. A horrifying incident occurs leaving an ominous presence in the house.
Teeth And Blood – A diva actress is murdered on a set film. Meanwhile, the city’s blood supply is mysteriously being depleted. Dets. Mike Hung and Sasha Colfax go undercover to crack the toughest mystery of their lives in a vampire-infested studio.
Nazi Vengeance – When four friends go camping on the South Downs, they are quite literally tortured by their past.
Eden Lodge – A young family are stranded at the Eden Lodge. The people they meet are being killed one by one. They must fight to save their marriage, their family, and most of all their lives.
The Eve – Friends head off to the remote island of Martha’s Vineyard to celebrate New Year’s Eve and reconnect. As tensions rise, an unforeseen presence halts celebrations and instead turns their holiday into a fight to live through to the new year.
The Burning Dead – A sheriff must rescue an estranged family from a mountain during a volcano eruption and fight off a horde of lava-filled zombies brought to life by a curse.
Infernal – A happy young couple welcomes their first child shortly after getting married. Their joy quickly turns to fear when the girl starts acting strangely and unexplained phenomena start happening around the house.
Toxin – A pharmaceutical company recruits a well-known scientist to help develop a vaccine against a deadly virus.
Residue – The government cover-up of the causes behind a massive explosion in a futuristic UK metropolis spur photo journalist Jennifer Preston on to search for the truth and in the process blow open a paranormal phenomenon haunting the city.
The Visit – A single mother finds that things in her family’s life go very wrong after her two young children visit their grandparents.
The Cutting Room – College students Raz, Charlie and Jess are about to start work on their end of year Media Studies project… unaware of a malevolent force lurking deep below their sleepy town.
Well there you have it, my best & worst films of 2015, you probably disagree with some or even most (this is MY opinion) of my choices and I know for a fact that I have missed some (I can’t watch ALL the films) but this is MY best & worst so tell me in the comment box below, what’s yours?
