Recently Deceased: The Making Of Beetlejuice

An independant fan documentary about Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice

Who doesn’t love Beetlejuice? Seriously I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t. So when I heard the news that a documentary was in the works I was ecstatic.

The documentary is another crowd funding success after raising nearly $29,000 on IndieGoGo, more than it initially was trying to raise.

The documentary will feature:

  • Interviews with cast and crew
  • Behind the scenes photos and videos
  • Rare production archives such as concept arts, blueprints…
  • Tour of East Corinth, Vermont
  • Interviews with people of East Corinth who were there for the filming
  • Meet fans that create great stuff about the movie
  • Meet Props Collectors
  • Meet Tom Spina, who worked on restoring the props, 30 years later

I seriosuly can’t begin to tell you how excited I am for this release, I’ve had an obsession with Beetlejuice since I first saw it when I was a kid, it started my love affair for Tim Burton and introduced me to the amazing Michael Keaton whom I have always enjoyed watching ever since.

I know this is a short post and no, don’t worry, I’m not going to ask you to head on over to the crowd funding page and help out, I just wanted to bring this documentary to peoples attention who may not already know about it.

Unfortunately we have to wait till 2020 for its release but for now you can keep up to date with what’s going on with the project by heading over to the Facebook page HERE
