Stephen King is a man I really look up to.
He was the first author to make me read a book that wasn’t Goosebumps and was also so thick that intimidated me, (“IT” if you were wondering) and his films have been a part of my life since I can remember. It’s been a long time coming but I feel it’s finally time to do a list of my favourites.
So here it is, my list of my top fifteen Stephen King films (the list is not in a favouritism order):
Carrie White, a shy, friendless teenage girl who is sheltered by her domineering, religious mother, unleashes her telekinetic powers after being humiliated by her classmates at her senior prom.

After a famous author is rescued from a car crash by a fan of his novels, he comes to realize that the care he is receiving is only the beginning of a nightmare of captivity and abuse.
A nerdish boy buys a strange car with an evil mind of its own and his nature starts to change to reflect it.
An obese attorney is cursed by a gypsy to rapidly and uncontrollably lose weight.

Two lovers stumble across a small American town where local children have killed the adult population in a bizarre ritual.
A freak storm unleashes a species of bloodthirsty creatures on a small town, where a small band of citizens hole up in a supermarket and fight for their lives.
A mysterious new shop opens in a small town which always seems to stock the deepest desires of each shopper, with a price far heavier than expected.
Donna, a suburban housewife along with her young son Tad, drives out to the home where a perturbed St Bernard is driven insane by rabies. She must now save herself and her son from a brutal attack.
The Creeds move to a new house in the countryside. Their house is perfect, except for the mysterious cemetery in the woods behind the house.
In 1960, seven preteen outcasts fight an evil demon that poses as a child-killing clown. Thirty years later, they reunite to stop the demon once and for all when it returns to their hometown.
In a very old textile mill with a serious rat infestation, the workers discover a horrifying secret deep in the basement.
Jack and his family move into an isolated hotel with a violent past. Living in isolation, Jack begins to lose his sanity, which affects his family members.
A couple who participated in a potent medical experiment gain telekinetic ability and then have a child who is pyrokinetic.
Honourable Mentions:
I have to admit that this list was A LOT harder to make than I thought it was going to be and I had to leave a lot off that I really didn’t want to but you have to remember that some are TV series such as “Salems Lot” and some are known more as dramas, such as “Dolores Claiborne” and “Apt Pupil” and that’s how I justified it to myself haha.
