31 Days Of Horror: Day 16 – Severance (2006)

During a team-building retreat in the mountains a group of sales representatives are hunted down by crazed killers.

Horror and Comedy, when done well has great results.

I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with Horror-Comedy but as I said when done right it can have great results, this feature is definitely one of the good ones out there.
I remember finding this film in my local Blockbusters (ah those were the days) and wanted to see it based on the cover alone, which as we all know can be a dangerous game but that was part of the fun of it all.
The film does an amazing job of mixing good old dark British humour with an abundance of gore, making for lots of cringeworthy yet laugh out loud moments.

Director Christopher Smith does an amazing job with an equally amazing cast, I’ve always enjoyed this flick everytime I put it on and never bore of it.
“Severance” is a highly entertaining and blood filled feature that is highly enjoyable, definitely worth a watch.
