Serial Killer Culture examines the reasons why artists and collectors are fascinated by serial killers.
Anyone who’s familiar with my writing knows I’m a huge fan of documentaries, so I couldn’t wait to see this.
The world of murderabilia can be a dark and murky one, and not in the good sense. In this documentary we get to delve into the art culture of serial killers and discover some highly interesting facts.
We get to speak to people who collect artwork and more from serial killers to people who’s artwork is inspired by them, both intriguing aspects that get your full attention.
We also hear some really funny and yet disturbing stories from the people who have dealt with these deranged people, it also gives us some cringeworthy moments that I won’t spoil for you.
Director John Borowski has made some great documentary films, “Albert Fish: In Sin He Found Salvation” is a personal favourite, but this is definitely his best work to date.
“Serial Killer Culture” is very enlightening, it’s a must watch in my opinion.
