My Top Fifteen Zombie Films

Who doesn’t love a good Zombie film?!

I’ve loved zombies ever since I was little and thought it was about time I did a list of my favourites.

I would like to point out that you won’t see any George A Romero Zombie films as he would take up most of this list, but it goes without saying that they should be in anyone’s top Zombie list.

So here it is, my list of my top fifteen Zombie films (the list is not in a favouritism order):

Shaun Of The Dead (2004)

Pet Sematary (1989)

Behind a young family’s home in Maine is a terrible secret that holds the power of life after death. When tragedy strikes, the threat of that power soon becomes undeniable.

Dead Alive (1992)

A young man’s mother is bitten by a Sumatran rat-monkey. She gets sick and dies, at which time she comes back to life, killing and eating dogs, nurses, friends, and neighbours.

Honourable mentions:

Exit Humanity (2011)

Zombieland (2009)

Return Of The Living Dead III (1993)

The Battery (2012)

Deadgirl (2008)

Let Sleeping Corpses Lie (1974)

For those of you wondering why I haven’t got films such as “Evil Dead”, “28 Days Later”, “Doghouse”, “Night Of The Creeps”, “[Rec]”, “The Crazies”, “Pontypool”, “Night Of The Comet”, “Nightmare City” etc it’s because they’re more virus or possession films, not zombie films.
