Raz’s Midnight Macabre: Last Shift (2015)

A rookie cop’s 1st shift in the last night of a closing police station alone turns into a living nightmare.

Some films just shock the hell out of you and this was that film for me.

When you settle down watch a low budget feature that you bought at a very low price, in all honesty you really don’t expect much but I was gladfully wrong and ended up feeling like I’d scooped a real bargain.
I was immediately drawn into a claustrophobic atmosphere with a lone character in an isolated location, because of this I found myself on edge and seriously tensed up. That has not happened to me in a long time.
Massive kudos to Writer and Director Anthony DiBlasi, he’s created a film has certainly open the eyes of a lot of diehard Horror fans, me included. Also actress Juliana Harkavy does a great job of keeping your attention, great piece of casting.
I seriously can’t compliment this film enough, the pacing is just perfect and it does so much with a limited budget. Sre it has it’s little flaws but nothing to diminish the film in anyway whatsoever.
“Last Shift” is a film that I beg you give a chance, it has certainly become on of my new favourites.
