The Master Of Horror has made a return!

John Carpenter is one of my all time favourite film makers, so when the news circulated a few days ago that he had released a new video I was ecstatic.

That video would be a reworking of the iconic “Christine” theme for his new compilation album “John Carpenter Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998”.

The album features reworkings of some of his most famous films such as “The Fog”, “Escape From New York”,”The Thing”, “Halloween” and more.

But John Carpenter has gone one further and released a short film/music video for the “Christine” film,  The video was directed by Carpenter himself and it’s being billed as his first narrative work in seven years.

Hopefully we may get a few more of these videos, it’s great to see Carpenter back doing what he does best. If you’re interested the album is out October 20th from HERE
