A disgraced internet personality attempts to win back his followers by livestreaming one night alone in a haunted house.
I kept seeing people talk about this feature on social media so I decided it was time I gave it a watch.

I’ve always been a fan of found footage Horror films so it was actually a no brainer for me to watch this, I literally don’t know why I didn’t watch it sooner but these things happen and well, it was time to change that. Though I will say that I didn’t know what I was in for.
I’ll be honest with you, I wasn’t expecting to be so highly entertained by this. When I saw the opening I thought it was going to be one of those modern day found footage films featuring an obnoxious streaming host who can be hard to put up with for the films running time.

Whilst I can see our main character not being to everyone’s liking (trust me, it took a little while for me to warm up to him) he does eventually win you over and once that happens you’re taken on a fun ride that will have you smiling from ear to ear, plus it features some awesome effects.
This was the debut film by husband and wife team Joseph and Vanessa Winter, they wrote and directed this film with Joseph Winter playing our lead. For their first film I must say I was left impressed, I think they’ve certainly got a bright future ahead of them.

“Deadstream” is certainly a fun comedy Horror film, it had me in stitches and I’m looking forward to seeing what this Father and Wife team do next.
