Well folks, there you have it. The entire “Sorority House Massacre” franchise review.
I have to say that it was fun looking back over this franchise.
I completely forgot how much fun yet baffling this trilogy was, when I decide to watch one of these it’s usually just the first film but now I realise that I shouldn’t have been, all three are pure fun and entertaining in their own way.
Each film has something different to offer us and even though it can be confusing I have to say that you don’t get that a lot with film franchises. We’re used to seeing the same old stuff and whilst these areadmittedly full of cliches it still offers something fun.
As I said in my review of the films, they’re completely unapologetic and I have to say that I love that about them. Whether it’s the gratuitous nudity, the full on gore, or even lack of in some cases, you have to respect that they did so much with so little.
The original “Sorority House Massacre” get’s lost in the abundance of Slasher films that were released in that period and it’s a shame really. Sure there are better films out there but I do feel it deserves more recognition than it gets.
“Sorority House Massacre” is certainly a fun yet complicated franchise, just enjoy the films for what they are.
